Midsouth Farm & Gin Show
Jan 1, 2007 12:00 PM, Compiled by Kate Royer
The Midsouth Farm & Gin Show, to be held March 2-3 in Memphis, TN, will give growers and ginners a firsthand look at a broad array of new ag products and technologies.
It will be the 55th year for the event that draws thousands to the downtown Cook Convention Center to see the industry's latest offerings.
Also featured will be Ag Update seminars that focus on the outlook for major Midsouth crops, as well as key farm issues and legislation.
As usual, the 2007 show is expected to be a sellout, says Tim Price, executive vice president for the Southern Cotton Ginners, sponsor of the event.
This year's show, co-sponsored by Delta Farm Press, is expected to have more than 400 exhibits, Price says, running the gamut from the latest equipment to seed, chemicals and services.
Coinciding with the show is the annual meeting of the Southern Cotton Ginners Association and its member associations from Louisiana, Tennessee, Mississippi and Arkansas-Missouri, and a number of ginner events are held during the week of the show.
