BIG TRACTOR SALES ARE UP
Jan 1, 2004 12:00 PM
Sales of tractors under 40 hp are still hot, up 24.4% in October. But that's still below the year-to-date (YTD) pace of 28.3%, according to the Association of Equipment Manufacturers.
The big news is the 9.2% jump in 2WD sales of tractors of more than 100 hp, nearly triple the YTD increase, and a 24.2% jump in October sales of 4WD tractors. That's more than eight times the YTD increase.
