Keeping Louisiana's agriculture and forest industries competitive is the theme of the 2006 AgOutlook Conference Jan. 26-27 in Baton Rouge. Topics will include agricultural globalization, international trade, commodity outlooks and the 2007 Farm Bill.
Kelsey Short, director of the agriculture, forest and food technology cluster for Louisiana Economic Development will be the featured speaker at the opening reception.
